The City of Meridian will accept competitive sealed bids until 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 1, 2024, at City Hall, 601 23rd Avenue, Meridian, Mississippi 39301. All bids must be equal in performance and/or quality to the specifications.

If City Hall is closed for business at the time scheduled for bid opening, for whatever reason, sealed bids will be accepted and opened on the second business day of the City, at the originally scheduled hour.

Bids shall be submitted on the bid form provided, sealed in an envelope with the following plainly marked on the outside of the envelope:

1.Company Name and Address
2.Bid Name and Number
3.Opening Date

Failure to examine any specifications and instructions will be at the bidder's risk.  All procedural and technical questions, or if the attached specifications are incomplete, not clear, or not standardized, shall be made in writing and addressed to:

No oral explanations by any member of the City staff will be binding.  Receipt of addenda must be acknowledged in writing.  Submitting vendors shall be responsible for ensuring that they have received any and all addenda.
